Hi!

If I read gnome-peercast description, I get:
"PeerCast front end user interface for GNOME
PeerCast is a new, free way to listen to radio and watch video on the
Internet. It uses P2P technology to let anyone become a broadcaster without
the costs of traditional streaming. This means you get to hear and watch
stations not normally found on commercially funded sites."

Then, it is clear that gnome peercast directly refers to peercast as a
FRONTEND.
From this point of view it is not a separate application and should either be
renamed or linked against libpeercast0.
