Currently, the package's Description: reads:
Description: simple command line utility to create BitTorrent metainfo files

- embedding custom comments into torrent files
- disallowing DHT and Peer Exchange
- multi-threaded hashing
Which is somewhat misleading, as in the Wonderful World of Free
Software anyone can change the BitTorrent agent implementation
he or she runs to completely ignore such a “setting.”
Therefore, I suggest changing (and expanding) it as follows:
- embedding custom comments into torrent files
- multi-threaded hashing
.
It also supports setting the "private" flag, which advises the BitTorrent
agents to refrain from using alternative peer discovery mechanisms,
such as Distributed Hash Table (DHT), Local Peer Discovery (LPD), or
Peer Exchange (although this setting may be overriden by the user.)
