Zabbix is looking for fping in wrong directories ( from log: At least one of '/usr/sbin/fping', '/usr/sbin/fping6' must exist. Both are missing in the system. ), but debian has fping in /usr/bin/fping ). You couldn't use basic icmp monitoring after clean installation of zabbix without zabbix config tweaking. It should take some time for novice to find why icmp ping check in zabbix doesn't work and to fix it by tweaking server config file.
