Hi, Today I have been notified of dangerous security vulnerabilities on flash being exploited in the wild. https://www.adobe.com/support/security/bulletins/apsb13-04.html I'm very glad to check that you already provided the updated flash blobs on http://people.debian.org/~bartm/flashplugin-nonfree/ therefore I could update it painless with the script update-flashplugin-nonfree. Thanks. But, I was thinking that maybe many users don't know still about this or that maybe the next time this happens I won't heard about the security news. So I think it would be very nice if you can provide within the package a cron job (in /etc/cron.daily) that runs everyday and checks if a new version of the flash player is available. In case a new version is available the cronjob can automatically download and install it or can send an email to the user. You can provide also a file on /etc/default to allow the user configure the behavior for this cronjob (only notify; or go ahead and download&install). In case the internet connection is down then the cronjob just exists gracefully Thanks!
