I don't think that I'm using psi-plus for ppc64. I've installed it just using 
apt-get install. And I'm not using debian-ports.

Definitely yes. The only thing I have 64bit is libc-ppc64(in addition to libc-
powerpc) and the kernel. AFAIK there's no 32bit kernel for G5 CPUs.
