Package: claws-mail Version: 3.9.0-1 Severity: normal Once the message sending failed it's impossible to retry. For example, the server has an expired certificate, so every time I restart Claws I have to accept it on first message send. If I forget about it, the connection would time out, so pressing Accept does nothing but produces 'Failed to send message' messagebox. If I click Send button once more, it just fails immediately without even trying to connect, and nothing can be seen in the logs. However, if I edit the message and send it again, it works.
It seems this bug has been introduced quite recently, as on the other laptop I have an older version, and I've never experienced this bug. -- System Information: Debian Release: 7.0 APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable'), (500, 'testing'), (1, 'experimental') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 3.2.0-4-686-pae (SMP w/4 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_GB.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_GB.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) (ignored: LC_ALL set to en_GB.UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Versions of packages claws-mail depends on: ii libc6 2.13-37 ii libcairo2 1.12.2-2 ii libcompfaceg1 1:1.5.2-5 ii libdbus-glib-1-2 0.100-1 ii libenchant1c2a 1.6.0-7 ii libetpan15 1.0-5 ii libgdk-pixbuf2.0-0 2.26.1-1 ii libglib2.0-0 2.34.3-1 ii libgnutls26 2.12.20-2 ii libgtk2.0-0 2.24.10-2 ii libice6 2:1.0.8-2 ii libldap-2.4-2 2.4.31-1 ii libpango1.0-0 1.30.0-1 ii libpisock9 0.12.5-5 ii libsm6 2:1.2.1-2 ii xdg-utils 1.1.0~rc1+git20111210-6 Versions of packages claws-mail recommends: ii aspell-en [aspell-dictionary] 7.1-0-1 ii claws-mail-i18n 3.9.0-1 pn xfonts-100dpi | xfonts-75dpi | xfonts-100dpi-transcoded | xfonts-7 <none> Versions of packages claws-mail suggests: ii claws-mail-doc 3.9.0-1 ii claws-mail-tools 3.9.0-1 pn gedit | kwrite | mousepad | nedit <none> ii iceweasel [www-browser] 19.0~b1-1 ii links [www-browser] 2.7-1 ii links2 [www-browser] 2.7-1 ii lynx-cur [www-browser] 2.8.8dev.15-1 -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [email protected] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
