Just because you can't reproduce it doesn't mean it doesn't exist. The request for exact instructions is more than fair, but don't close the bug just to have it closed. The bug in Tcl had to do with leaking file descriptors - passing garbage to select (2) I think. I will see if I can get you some exact instructions to reproduce it, but please leave the bug open until we're sure that the problem is really gone. Thanks, -- David N.
