Ok, thanks for the information. (I must admit, I haven't checked if
the patch still applies.)

IIRC yes. Otherwise fsck wouldn't have aborted.

According to /var/log/fsck/checkroot it's called with "fsck -C -a -t
btrfs /run/rootdev". See also /etc/init.d/checkfs.sh.
