Dear Maintainer,
BTS 695784 removed GFDL licensed documentation from the readline6
6.2+dfsg-0.1 package:
readline6 (6.2+dfsg-0.1) unstable; urgency=low
* Non-maintainer upload.
* Remove non DFSG-compliant files from source:
doc/{history,rlman,rluserman,readline}.{dvi,html,info,pdf,ps,texi}.
rluserman thus removed from /usr/share/info/ in readline-common and
history and readline also removed from /usr/share/info/ in
libreadline6-dev. Closes: #695784.

Please consider placing these files into a non-free package as the lack
of documentation that matches the Debian installed version is
troublesome when upstream releases a new version and updates their
online manual. Right now there is no difference between the installed
version and the online manual, but that will likely change in the
future.
