Package: kooka Version: 4:3.4.2-2 Severity: normal xscanimage works for me.
scanimage -L reports: $ scanimage -L device `epkowa:libusb:001:005' is a Epson Perfection 4180 flatbed scanner Yet when I hit the Select Device button in Kooka, nothing appears. Digikam, whose docs say it uses Kooka, claims I have no supported scanner. QuiteInsane also works fine. -- System Information: Debian Release: testing/unstable APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable') Architecture: i386 (i686) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Kernel: Linux 2.6.12-rc4-mm2 Locale: LANG=C, LC_CTYPE=C (charmap=ANSI_X3.4-1968) Versions of packages kooka depends on: ii kdelibs4c2 4:3.4.2-4 core libraries for all KDE applica ii libc6 2.3.5-7 GNU C Library: Shared libraries an ii libgcc1 1:4.0.2-2 GCC support library ii libjpeg62 6b-10 The Independent JPEG Group's JPEG ii libkscan1 4:3.4.2-2 scanner library for KDE ii libqt3-mt 3:3.3.5-1 Qt GUI Library (Threaded runtime v ii libstdc++6 4.0.2-2 The GNU Standard C++ Library v3 ii libtiff4 3.7.4-1 Tag Image File Format (TIFF) libra ii zlib1g 1:1.2.3-6 compression library - runtime Versions of packages kooka recommends: ii gocr 0.39-5 A command line OCR -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
