Package: sysvinit Version: 2.86.ds1-4 Severity: normal Hi,
Because of the DEB_HOST_GNU_SYSTEM change in dpkg, the debian/deps-glibc script has been effectively disabled for some time now (except on gnu/hurd, where sysvinit isn't used anyway..). Since nobody complained, perhaps it can be removed now. However, if you still want to keep it, I would suggest using: http://glibc-bsd.alioth.debian.org/porting/get_libc_path.c to obtain the Glibc soname portably. (please note, though, that versioned dependency on >= 2.3.2.ds1-12 should not be used on GNU/kFreeBSD) -- System Information: Debian Release: testing/unstable Architecture: kfreebsd-i386 (i686) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Kernel: GNU/kFreeBSD 5.4-1-686 Locale: LANG=en_US, LC_CTYPE=en_US (charmap=ANSI_X3.4-1968) (ignored: LC_ALL set to C) Versions of packages sysvinit depends on: ii coreutils 5.2.1-2.1+kbsd The GNU core utilities ii initscripts 2.86.ds1-4 Standard scripts needed for bootin ii libc0.1 2.3-1+kbsd.11 GNU C Library: Shared libraries an ii sysv-rc 2.86.ds1-4 Standard boot mechanism using syml sysvinit recommends no packages. -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
