Now i can reproduce the issue here. You can create even multiple tasks and the date does not really matter. Create two tasks, select the second task (it is highlighted now) and then try to mark the first task as "done" and the second highlighted one will be marked as done. Thats unexpected and also happens with more than two tasks. I guess i have found a corresponding bug report upstream and forwarded this bug report accordingly.
