Just in case someone still tries to investigate. As I still did fight with this I just did another experiment and installed the firefox nightly build (64-bit) from http://nightly.mozilla.org/ for comparison. It's using all the same settings but does not have this bug.
And one more info - I'm using gnome 2 as desktop. So basically I'm fine for now by switching to firefox nightly-builds, but the bug is still 100% reproducible here when using Iceweasel.
