Please enable more verbosity, i.e. "Debug:7" in acng.conf. It might be
the daily cleanup job that triggers it but we need to know more.
If you can catch it, please monitor its activies for a while, i.e.
strace -f -p $(pidof apt-cacher-ng) | tee strace-log.txt
