Package: libllvm3.2 Version: 3.2-3 Severity: normal Tags: patch The llvm-3.2 debian package contains a patch (r600-snapshot.diff) that adds the R600 target to llvm 3.2, as needed by mesa 9.1.
Unfortunately, the patch in the current unstable package contains a development snapshot that breaks ABI with the official llvm 3.2 release. The offending commit has since been reverted [1] and a git tag [2] has been created, which is the version of llvm intended to be used together with the final mesa 9.1 release. Attaching two patches to the llvm-3.2 debian pakaging that first separates the remaining llvm-3.3 backports into separate patches and then updates r600-snapshot.diff so that it matches said git tag.
