Hi folks, for me, this bug also affects the buttons on the pad, not just the touch ring. Looking at the upstream changelog, a few pad-button related fixes have been made since 0.15 (though a quick attempt at backporting 00560b81d (Find mouse buttons on pad devices if no generic buttons found) didn't seem to fix the bug. In any case, given the freeze state of wheezy, this won't be fixed for wheezy unfortunately. Any chance that you could upload a newer upstream version to sid or perhaps experimental until wheezy is released? Gr.
