Package: src:mongodb
Followup-For: Bug #703061
Hi, Jeff.
I am trying to clean a little bit the packaging of mongodb for my own use
and I thought "why not take kfreebsd into account"?
Unfortunately, the patch that you provided no longer applies to the newer
versions of mongodb, as upstream has substantially changed the code base.
For instance, there is no nonce.cpp anymore, but there is a file called
src/mongo/platform/random.cpp which also provides randomness.
It would be nice if you could test your findings against what I have in
https://github.com/rbrito/mongo-debian
as I believe that I am stepping into the direction a cleaner package. :)
As I have already sent a pull request to integrate my changes to the
packaging tree (see https://github.com/bobek/mongo-debian/pull/2), your
changes will be merged as mine are (if Antonin merges mine).
So, that's it.
