Hi,

there’s currently a discussion on the pcc upstream mailing list
about having a shippable version of pcc that actually works on
GNU/Linux. There currently is none (except severely older versions
that have known deficiencies on amd64), and the ETA is rather high.

Since the M-A changes needed are intrusive, and the relevant parts
of pcc changed a lot since the last version that was somewhat stably
working, I’ve not yet been able to continue working on it.

As pcc is only in experimental… let’s wait until upstream is no
longer unusable, then update it.

bye,

“mysql is about as much database as ms access” – “MSSQL at least descends
from a database” “it's a rebranded SyBase” “MySQL however was born from a
flatfile and went downhill from there” – “at least jetDB doesn’t claim to
be a database” (#nosec) ‣‣‣ Please let MySQL and MariaDB finally die!
