package: debian-instaler severity: minor version: 20130415 Creating for example an ext4 filesystem on a 1 TB drive takes around 10 minutes on my machine. During that time, d-i's progression meter doesn't move past 33%, which isn't very informative.
It would be quite nice to see some kind of progression during that time to have a better sense of when the human will be needed again. I know that's not going to be straightforward to instrument mke2fs (and other formatting tools) to support this kind of thing, so I'm setting the severity at minor.
