Hello, I have the same joypad as yours, tested and you are right that there is no way to bind a joystick. "src/gtk/joypadconfig.cpp" seems to only read from the keyboard. I don't know if it is possible to edit directly the configuration file to read joysticks from SDL. For a workaround, you can probably use joy2key (packaged in Debian) to translate joystick press movements to key presses that will get interpreted by gtk and gvba.
