PerlPrimer is a nice graphical program for designing PCR primers, but the icon that we currently use for the application menus is very small and not scalable. It was a nice workaround in 2006, but screen became bigger with a higher resolution, and now it is sometimes hard to recognise that the icon is a DNA helix because it is so pixelised. If somebody has interest to make a nice SVG icon for PerlPrimer and submit it to us and upstream, that would be great !
