adequate currently complains about missing .pyc files in private
directories, even when a script is executable. Example:
python-apt-common: py-file-not-bytecompiled /usr/share/python-apt/migrate-0.8.py
On the other hand, some packages ship private Python modules (NOT
scripts!) with executable bit set. Example:
cicero: py-file-not-bytecompiled /usr/share/cicero/app_shell.py
