Hello.
As I understood from requests on weather.yahoo.com suggestions/help site they
have inaccurate information for places not only all over Russia but also some
in the U.S.
At Yahoo, they are not willing to fix this soon, because they did not start to
honour such requests even months old.
In Gnome 2/Gnome 3 classic the weather applet is fine. The proposed is worse.
So, that is a downgrade because the information provided in not correct. I do
not know what the Debian standards say in that case, but I would think of
changing information provider in the package to the one that was in Gnome
classic applet, or the one in KDE.
