Hi all, i was about to report the same bug. On my machine (how can i get system information as the one pasted in the submitter's mail?) i get a very similar behaviour but i found that the culprit seems to be the pinentry executable hogging 100% cpu (of one core). When that process is killed i get a message error saying that the pgp passphrase i entered is not valid, but claws-mail recovers. Deselecting "sign" from the "Option" menu solves the problem and i can send correctly.
