Sorry about really late reply.

Sadly, I do not have patch anymore. Couldn't find any source codes for digitemp even from my year 2011 backups. I guess I have deleted those when I moved away from DS2490 USB/1-wire host.

I still have hardware to test if needed.

Sorry,
Jyrki Malinen

Brian and/or Jyrki,

Do you still have this patch? lists.brianlane.com appears to be no
more, archive.org doesn't have it, and I can't find any copy of it on
the internet at large.

Thanks,
RF (new Debian maintainer for DigiTemp)

Hello!

Recently I had some spare time and I dug in digitemp mailing list
archives. As I already told you, I don't own any ds2438-based sensor, so I
can't do any test, but I found that the issue may have come out between
3.4.0 and 3.5.0 releases:
http://lists.brianlane.com/pipermail/dt-general/2008-September/000598.html
http://lists.brianlane.com/pipermail/dt-general/2008-September/000599.html

http://lists.brianlane.com/pipermail/dt-general/2008-October/000606.html

Does the patch attached to the last of those mails solve your problem?

As we are approaching to the lenny release date, I really like to fix that
issue!

ciao
Riccardo
