Bug#711016: vilistextum: no output from one-word document

The file foo.html processed as

    vilistextum foo.html -

produces no output.  I expected it to print

    oneword

It seems that html which is a single word like foo.html with no
newlines, except after the closing </html>, doesn't produce any output.
If there's a newline just after </body> or the like then it works.
