Package: bsdtar
Version: 3.1.2-5
Severity: normal
Hi.
I have a rar file that bsdtar isn't able to decompress, though both unar
(the Free decompressor) and unrar (the non-free one) sucessfully decompress
the file.
Just as a sanity check, I compared the output of unar with that of unrar and
they were bit-by-bit the same.
While trying to decompress the file with bsdtar, I received the messages:
,----
| ...: Parsing filters is unsupported.
| (...)
| bsdtar: Error exit delayed from previous errors.
`----
Unfortunately, I can't send the file to the bug tracking system, but I can
send it privately.
Thanks,
