Unfortunately, I was a bit naive and thought that the upstream patch fixing the undefined MAXHOSTNAMELEN constant was all it would take to fix the FTBFS on Hurd. I'm going to have to waste a few cycles on the buildds with a new version that actually fixes this bug; this time tested with the hurd-i386 porterbox.
