your are right that there are just hourly jobs in this example crontab.
But the second entry is just an example to call a specific host at a
given time. This could be every hour but it may be necessary to do it every
30mins or just once per day. In case you have several hosts to call, you
might not want to do this at the same minute for every host (as it would
happen with cron.hourly). So this is just an example and to provide the
maximum flexibility this should not be in cron.hourly
The first entry defines the time when a remote system should be called by
uudemon.hr. It would not be nice if any of my remotes calls me at the same
time. So it is important to not use the default value of 8 but everybody
should use a random value (or at least shall be able to use one when somebody
requests it). So this entry shouldn't be in cron.hourly as well.
So if you don't mind I would close that bug and keep everything as it is
now.
