Package: libneon24 Version: 0.24.7.dfsg-2 Severity: wishlist I would like to use neon with GSSAPI authentication via HTTP Negotiate. This requires the library to be built with Kerberos support, which was explicitly disabled in response to bug #268106. Can you reconsider this decision?
Note that this will probably only work with the MIT libraries (libkrb5-dev), and will require the following one-line patch to ne_auth.c: <http://mailman.webdav.org/pipermail/neon/2004-November/001768.html>. neon 0.25.4 contains GSSAPI fixes for non-MIT implementations, but again the Debian package is explicitly built without GSSAPI support. -- System Information: Debian Release: 3.1 Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.6.10-5-386 Locale: LANG=C, LC_CTYPE=C (charmap=ANSI_X3.4-1968) Versions of packages libneon24 depends on: ii libc6 2.3.2.ds1-22 GNU C Library: Shared libraries an ii libssl0.9.7 0.9.7e-3 SSL shared libraries ii libxml2 2.6.16-7 GNOME XML library ii zlib1g 1:1.2.2-4.sarge.2 compression library - runtime -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
