Package: pcsxr: Version: 1.9.92-4 Severity: important Dear Maintainer, The version of PCSX-R listed in synaptic is 1.9.92-4. However, the .deb builds 1.7.1 instead. I did a bit of digging, and the same issue has been reported with Gentoo, Sabayon, Slackware (in terms of the Slackbuilds.org slackbuilds) and many other popular distros. The only two I could find that are properly building the current version are Fedora (via RPM Fusion) and PC-BSD. I downloaded the .deb directly from the PCSX-R homepage, but it too builds 1.7.1 The newer release includes several useful features, including the ability to disable volume without resorting to using PulseAudio, and some other game related fixes.
