Please check out the fresh package from http://itanix.rutgers.edu/rumba/dists/unstable/perspect/binary-all/net/ it is supposed to do what you want (if you upgrade config file as well since default behaviour upstream should remain as it was before I think)
Please report back if it fixes the issue and then I will dupload it
