Hi, I installed ibus-anthy1.5.3 from experimental. However, this new input method is not listed in "input sources" of Gnome 3.8 "Region & Language settings". So it is no way for Gnome to activate it.
If this input method is added via ibus-setup, ibus-anthy will be activated all the time and cannot be turned off. There seems to be a specific step needed to "register" input method installed to Gnome. But I don't know what it is.
