Package: xcp-xapi Version: 1.3.2-15 Severity: important
New wheezy box Follow the setup instructions for xcp-xapi, choosing openvswitch networking Only loopback is defined in /etc/network/interfaces (the way it should be for XCP) IP address, router, DNS has been configured statically with pif-reconfigure-ip After reboot, the IP address is assigned correctly on the bridge interface but some incorrect default gateway appears in the routing table The root cause of this problem was that NetworkManager was on the machine and somehow it had configured a default route, either clobbering the route created by XCP or deterring XCP from setting up routes Maybe XCP needs to conflict: network-manager until a more elegant solution can be developed? It's unlikely anybody needs NM or Gnome in a dom0 anyway -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [email protected] with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble? Contact [email protected]
