Now that gvfs in jessie has switched to libudisks2, I think you'll want to follow Ubuntu's lead and have thunar depend on udisks2. The Ubuntu bug for this issue was https://launchpad.net/bugs/1014632 I don't actually use thunar but I thought I'd pass this bug report along.
