Dear Maintainer,
Cinnamon doesn't respect the freedesktop autostart specification as
shared at
http://standards.freedesktop.org/autostart-spec/autostart-spec-latest.html
. There are a bunch of apps. which I want autostarted no matter which
DE I use. With cinnamon I'm unable to do that atm.
For instance I have guake which needs to be autostarted if I want to
use guake :-
$ ls /etc/xdg/autostart/ | grep guake
guake.desktop
This does not occur. Similarly, there are other programs which should
start running either in the background or foreground but aren't .
