well, i've found what caused this problem. the error was generated when with package: turck-mmcache installed after disabling turck-mmcache in php.ini - problems stopped!
sorry for the confusion... i guess package turck-mmcache is not "very" compatible with changes of php4 unstable packages. i ve got more problems with turck-mmcache - for example egroupware started to report in red that "my files are in webserver root directory" hopefully this was solved...
