As explained by Love. Might also be useful to build the latest git version of Heimdal from upstream, and check to see if it has the same issue. Alternatively, if somebody could give me a script (or list of commands) to execute on a clean Debian install (or 2 sets for 2 installations if required for communications - 1 would be better of possible) to reproduce the problem (include apt-get install heimdal-*), that could be useful too. In that I have never used hprop/hpropd before, and this would give me a test case to use, and maybe even demonstrate the problem to upstream. Thanks. Brian May
