Package: emacs-snapshot-gtk Version: 1:20051027-1 Severity: normal -----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1
I found out that displaying the   entity in nxml-mode causes Emacs-snapshot to freeze. This can be reproduced easily by opening an XML document, pressing C-c C-u to insert a Unicode character by name, entering NO-BREAK SPACE and seeing it go wild. This works just fine with the stable Emacs. Other numeric entities I use often in my documents, like ‑, cause no problems at all. - -- System Information: Debian Release: testing/unstable APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable') Architecture: i386 (i686) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Kernel: Linux 2.6.13-ck8 Locale: LANG=es_AR.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=es_AR.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Versions of packages emacs-snapshot-gtk depends on: ii emacs-snapshot-bin-common 1:20051027-1 The GNU Emacs editor's shared, arc ii libatk1.0-0 1.10.3-1 The ATK accessibility toolkit ii libc6 2.3.5-3 GNU C Library: Shared libraries an ii libglib2.0-0 2.8.3-1 The GLib library of C routines ii libgtk2.0-0 2.6.10-1 The GTK+ graphical user interface hi libice6 6.8.2.dfsg.1-3 Inter-Client Exchange library ii libjpeg62 6b-10 The Independent JPEG Group's JPEG ii libncurses5 5.5-1 Shared libraries for terminal hand ii libpango1.0-0 1.8.2-1 Layout and rendering of internatio ii libpng12-0 1.2.8rel-4 PNG library - runtime hi libsm6 6.8.2.dfsg.1-3 X Window System Session Management ii libtiff4 3.7.4-1 Tag Image File Format (TIFF) libra ii libungif4g 4.1.3-2 shared library for GIF images (run hi libx11-6 6.8.2.dfsg.1-3 X Window System protocol client li hi libxpm4 6.8.2.dfsg.1-3 X pixmap library hi xlibs 6.8.2.dfsg.1-3 X Window System client libraries m ii zlib1g 1:1.2.3-4 compression library - runtime emacs-snapshot-gtk recommends no packages. - -- no debconf information -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.2 (GNU/Linux) iD8DBQFDaSy3823633cP2P8RAraXAJ4hJW0utLDFb2Kw9hzqfUkgrfxdgACggytb uUhD62q48Ob4zzuTKKcgNgo= =H3IH -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
