Hi Gregor,

Sorry for the late answer, I wasn't sure about what to do.

I actually got your patch and pushed it in our git repository for the
debian packaging of our last version: 2.5.3.

This version 2.5.3 is not pushed yet to Debian's repository. We've
only published it on our dedicated repository for now, by lake of time
and some hesitations due to the change of maintainer (Philippe Le
Brouster is not working with us anymore, so I'm taking over).

So my thinking is the following:

For 2.5.2-3.1, we are fine if you push it to Debian's repo as a NMU.
If you think it's preferable however, we can package 2.5.2-4, but this
will require me to get sponsored (Vincent Danjean can help me with
that) as a Debian Maintainer for the package.

For newer versions anyway, I will need to become DM for the package.

Best regards
Pierre
