Package: rpm
Version: 4.10.0-5+deb7u1
Severity: normal

Hey there,

after I had performed a dist upgrade from squeeze to wheezy I found that the
rpm package seems to be broken. Whenever I try the get a list of packages with
rpm -q -a I get the following output:

  > rpm -q -a
  error: db5 error(-30969) from dbenv->open: DB_VERSION_MISMATCH: Database
environment version mismatch
  error: cannot open Packages index using db5 - (-30969)
  error: cannot open Packages database in /root/.rpmdb
  error: db5 error(-30969) from dbenv->open: DB_VERSION_MISMATCH: Database
environment version mismatch
  error: cannot open Packages database in /root/.rpmdb

I use aptitude and I tried to reinstall the package using 'reinstall'
'uninstall'/'install' and 'purge'/'install' but couldn't fix the problem.

Best regards,

Dirk
