I think we should update gnome-contacts to 3.8 as part of the evo/eds 3.8 transition. See my comments in the titanpad [1]. We will update folks and empathy to the exp version as well. The gnome-desktop 3.6 b-dep is artificial in gnome-contacts and can be lowered again. I verified that gnome-contacts 3.8 builds fine with the older gnome-desktop version. I have a pretty good overview of all affected packages now, will post a summary as port of the transition bug which I'm planning on filing either today or the next days.
