Hello,
This bug can also prevent opening new tab inside galeon 1.3.19-3
When home page is set to myportal and cache_compare is set to 1
galeon crash when trying to open new tab with crtl+t or file->newtab
(cache_compare is defined in gconf in .gconf/apps/galeon/Advanced/Network
cache_compare is described as :
"When to compare cached copy to web copy.
Possible values are 0 (once per session), 1 (every time),
2 (never), 3 (automatic).)"
)
I also noticed i was unable to "save with content" myportal: page
Solution is to change home page setting or cache_compare value
I hope this can help people upgrading to 1.3.19 and discovering they are
not able to open new tab in galeon
