Unforunately I could not follow up on the issue anymore because I had to get my systems back into a running state.
If nobody else can reproduce it on Debian, then it is possible that the issue was indeed related to Ubuntu only or the specific kernel version used there. So this bug can probably be closed. BR, Karsten
