Hi,
the libtool version shipped in graphicsmagick causes build issues on
hurd-i386.
What happens is that such old version lacks all the fixes done recently
in upstream libtool, including recognising the multiarch library dirs
as system library dirs: this causes libtool to add RPATH on the
multiarch library dirs, and this extra RPATH makes dpkg-shlibdeps pick
the wrong libpng12.so.0 file (/usr/lib/$multiarch/libpng12.so.0, shipped
by libpng12-dev) instead of the one shipped in libpng12-0, so not
finding any dependency information (symbols file or shlibs) for it. [1]
The attached patch is a backport of just the libtool changes needed,
patching both libtool.m4 and the generated configure.
