Package: flexbackup
Version: 1.2.1-6.2
Severity: normal

Dear Maintainer,

I have recently converted my mounts of (most of) my normally-down VMs'
filesystems to libguestfs, and have found that, for Debian VMs only, when
flexbackup tries to back them up, it seems to conclude with this error:

ERROR: non-zero exit from:
find . -depth -xdev ! -type s ! -regex .*/.*[Cc]ache.*/.* ! -regex
.*/[Tt]emp/.* ! -regex ../tmp/. ../tmp/.. ../tmp/.ICE-unix ../tmp/.X0-lock
../tmp/.X11-unix ./tmp/. ./tmp/.. ! -regex .*/TEMP/.* ! -regex .*/TMP/.* !
-regex .*/pagefile\.sys ! -regex .*/Web/.* ! -regex .*/.*\.bak$ ! -regex
.*/.*\.msf$ ! -regex .*/NTUSER\.DAT ! -regex .*/NTUSER\.DAT\.LOG ! -regex
.*/ntuser\.dat\.LOG ! -regex .*/hiberfil\.sys ! -regex .*/Temporary\ Internet\
Files/.* ! -regex .*/Offline\ Web\ Pages/.* ! -regex .*/OfficeScan\ NT/.* !
-regex .*/System\ Volume\ Information/.* ! -regex .*/N360_BACKUP/.* -print0

The problem seems to be that more than one parameter is given to the third
-regex switch - this would stop the backup process if there are more
filesystems to deal with.

This seems to affect both my Debian jessie VM and my Debian GNU/kFreeBSD
wheezy VM, both hosted on my stable box. If they were normally up, I could
run flexbackup therein, probably without problems. Before I used guestfs, I
used to mount the filesystems directly using hand-calculated offsets, and they
backed up successfully.

I note that flexbackup seems not even to be maintained upstream any more. I
am trying out other possible replacements, but if this can be fixed, it would
be useful, at least as a "stopgap".
