No, I didn't test it, but it looks very easy. If the patch would check for /proc/acpi/sleep and it not exist and then use /sys/power/state would be more complicated. I don't compile klaptodaemon by my self. So I can not test it (in an easy way). I think the patch has a problem: What happen with the 2.4 Kernels if there is a /proc/acpi/sleep but no /sys/power/state?
