Hello, Well, i just spoke a bit with jbailey and investigated some, and founf the reason why the partitions where missing.
It seems the ide_disk module is not loaded, which given that my disk is an ide one is pretty broken, i wonder if it could work on powermac or something. Also, there is no lsmod command which had me a bit baffled, and jbailey suggested creating an alias to /proc/modules, which allowed me to investigate this, would be cool to make it the default with : alias lsmod="more /proc/modules" Ok, will add ide_disk to /etc/mkinitramfs/modules, and we will see what happens.
