reassign 674828 pcmanfm thanks this is not a bug in policykit-1. policykit-1 works as expected. desktop environments should either use a mechanism like consolekit or logind to grant permissions based on whether the user is active/local or control access via static group memberships.
This is a policy decision which needs to be decided by the individual desktops, not within policykit-1. Thus re-assigning back to pcmanfm. Michael -- Why is it that all of the instruments seeking intelligent life in the universe are pointed away from Earth?
