Installed dokuwiki on a fresh debian installation.
* What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or
ineffective)?
apt-get install dokuwiki
* What was the outcome of this action?
Installation was successful, but wget http://localhost/dokuwiki returns 404 not
found.
* What outcome did you expect instead?
I can open the wiki in a browser.
The problem is that the postinst script tries to create a link in
/etc/apache2/conf.d to /etc/dokuwiki/apache.conf. However, apache has no conf.d
directory. It has conf-available and conf-enabled directories.
